Thomas Anderson is a computer programmer by day and a hacker by
night that goes by the name of Neo. He is in search of the matrix and its
meaning. The Matrix is an artificial reality controlled by the computers. In the
matrix, the agents have wiped out the human race. They are trying to get to
Zion, the last human refuge. The agents contact Neo and ask for his
cooperation in helping them get to Zion. Morpheus, who has been labeled
a terrorist by the agents, contacts Neo as well. He knows that Neo is curious
about the Matrix. Morpheus also believes that Neo is 밫he One�. The one who
can lead then to freedom, and out of the artificial reality controlled by the
agents. Morpheus explains to Neo that he has a choice of joining the Matrix and
finding out the truth, or he can go back to reality. If he takes the red pill, he뭠l
뱒tay in Wonderland� (IMDB.COM). If he takes the blue pill, he can go back to
normal. After Neo takes red pill, he is then conditioned and trained on
all that is the Matrix.
They go into the Matrix, after they are strapped into a chair, and
plugged in. A program is loaded and they are in. In order to leave the Matrix,
you have to be connected a phone line. If you died while you're inside the
Matrix, you die in reality as well. Neo is taken to meet with the Oracle and she
